United Workers of IWH and If/When/How: Lawyering for Reproductive Justice are excited to share that staff have formed a recognized union with the National Organization of Legal Services Workers – UAW Local 2320. Worker justice is integral to achieving reproductive justice, and becoming a unionized workplace is an essential step in enacting the long-held values of If/When/How.

Upholding and championing workers’ rights is fundamental to a future where every one of us has the power and support to make decisions about our bodies, families, and communities, without barriers, coercion, or punishment, in safety and with dignity. We could not provide our exceptional wrap-around legal services that transform lives and laws without the workers of If/When/How.

We are excited to join the larger community and tradition of unionized legal services organizations working toward this future, and look forward to the strength it will bring us, and in turn, the people we serve.
