On October 19th, join the National Latina Institute for Reproductive Justice’s Senior Policy Analyst Lucie Arvallo and the National Immigration Law Center’s Senior Counsel Gabrielle Lessard to learn about the shared advocacy to achieve immigrant and reproductive justice.

Gabrielle will cover the current landscape, offer an analysis of recent presidential administrations’ policies, and break down the current DACA litigation. Building upon that, Lucie will discuss barriers to abortion access, public programs, and health insurance for immigrants, along with the realities of policing and how we can protect immigrants traveling for care.

Reproductive justice, at its core, demands human dignity and resources for all people to create kinship without stigma, barriers, fear, or violence. The reality of U.S. borders, detention centers, and racist policies cut across communities, separate families, and deny people the basic freedom to move, get care and support, and determine their futures.
